How switching works

Changing managers takes a few clear steps, and we help with each one. Here is what happens, and who does what.

Each step is labelled with the stage your member portal will show.

  1. We get to know your building

    In your portal: Considering

Your property, how it's set up, your committee, and what isn't working.

  2. Meet the team

    In your portal: Evaluating

Usually a visit to your building, so owners can meet the people who'd look after it.

  3. Decide together

    In your portal: Deciding

We help you set up the meetings, motions and decisions your corporation needs.

  4. Appoint Acacia

    In your portal: Getting started

Your owners appoint us, and we set your building up with us.

  5. The handover

    In your portal: Transitioning

We make sure insurance and other matters are in place, and we work with your former manager so your cash and documents are handed over properly.

It's your corporation's choice: we can prepare the letters to your former manager for your corporation to sign, and manage the handover for you, or help you prepare and send them yourselves.

  6. Settled in

In your portal: Onboarding, then Member

Your portal is ready from day one: your building's documents, your requests, a noticeboard and answers any hour.

And if we're ever not right for you:

No exit fees, at any time, for any reason.
